At Property Road SA, we appreciate that there are a lot of ‘buzz’ words and terminology surrounding property investment that can be a bit off-putting. We like to think we communicate in a very “normal” way – whatever normal is!
When it comes to property investment, we are huge believers in the National Rental Affordability Scheme which is currently available. We’ll explain a little bit more about that in a separate blog, we’d like to take this opportunity to explain a little bit more about us.
Property Road SA was launched in 2011. Set up off the back of our successful finance business (Zobel Finance) we found we were receiving an increasing number of enquiries about property investment. We have employed the same experience and knowledge that our group has held in the finance industry and brought it to the table for clients looking for quality advice on buying an investment property.
The fact that we have a finance background means we look at property investment from a long term financial planning perspective. We don’t believe it is a ‘get rich quick’ scheme and when presenting a property to clients we ensure it fits in with their long term financial goals.
This financial perspective has without doubt become our point of difference. We are 100% not real estate agents and we are definitely not builders. We partner with both to deliver product to our clients. Our strength is understanding the financial implications of an investment and how it can be beneficial.
At the moment, we do specialize in the National Rental Affordability Scheme, but we can provide information on Property Investment in general. Our reason for advocating NRAS is purely because, as most people, when we found out about the scheme we thought ‘Nah, that’s too good to be true’. We went away and researched… for months… literally… and we can quite honestly say – if you’re in a position to invest in property, the incentives attached to NRAS make it a valuable and long-term financially rewarding initiative. Like we’ve said, NRAS will not make you ‘get rich quick’, you need to be willing and able to hold onto the property to maximize the benefits.
