The Advertiser yesterday published an article outlining just how important apartments located in the Adelaide CBD and city fringe locations are to South Australia’s affordable housing supply.
As the median sale price for city houses was $690,000 compared to apartments at $430,000, it is easy to see why apartments are a critical part of the life cycle of property in our state.
Approximately 60% of properties in the city are units or apartments, with apartment and unit sales in the Adelaide CBD consistently on the rise.
As is common for many, purchasing a home in the area you would ideally like to live just isn’t feasible given the price of homes in those sought-after locations.
That’s why many are turning to units and apartments as an affordable alternative, therefore increasing the overall demand.
